What better moment than after some days of vacation to restart the season with such a magnificent winery. I had already been able to visit it\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/toyadelaguardia.com\/valtravieso-bodegas-y-vinedos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/toyadelaguardia.com\/valtravieso-bodegas-y-vinedos\/<\/a>\u00a0on a trip we made as a group of gastronomic bloggers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20853 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Valtravieso-002-300x184.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Valtravieso-002-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Valtravieso-002-600x368.jpg 600w, https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Valtravieso-002-1024x628.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Valtravieso-002-768x471.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Valtravieso-002.jpg 1034w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Valtravieso Bodegas y Vi\u00f1edos, is a modern and functional winery situated in a natural environment with a classical style of winery and wines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And this is what I want to talk to you about today in \u201cFull Spain\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fullspain.com\/\">https:\/\/fullspain.com\/<\/a>\u00a0in our section \u201cFrom Glass to Glass\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fullspain.com\/en\/category\/from-drink-to-drink\/\">https:\/\/fullspain.com\/en\/category\/from-drink-to-drink\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Valtravieso is a Project in the Ribera del Duero which was born in 1985, when the first vines were planted in the\u00a0<strong>Finca La Revilla<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Santa Mar\u00eda, El Buey and El Obispo,<\/strong>\u00a0920 metros above sea level, making it the highest vineyard in the D.O. Ribera del Duero.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20852 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/valt_fic_2-300x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/valt_fic_2-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fullspain.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/valt_fic_2.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Valtravieso Crianza 2014<\/strong>\u00a0is a coupage of mainly\u00a0<strong>Tempranillo<\/strong>, complemented by the addition of\u00a0<strong>Cabernet Sauvignon<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Merlot<\/strong>, which principally come from their own vineyards situated around the winery. The aging is carried out in French oak casks\/barrels for 14 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The result is a\u00a0<strong>wine with fresh fruity notes that are well integrated<\/strong>\u00a0with the wood and a smooth, long lasting palate, full-bodied and perfectly balanced. On the nose the first thing that stands out is its elegance and that its olfactory language is completely Ribere\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I very much enjoy looking at the labels of the bottles and on this occasion, Valtravieso crianza 2014 continues its tradition of labels which are classical, elegant and understated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This Crianza 2014 will improve still further in the bottle in some months, rounding out completely, thus allowing us to enjoy a great wine which despite its complexity and body, is easily drunk and has an elegant freshness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20851 alignright\" justify;\">It goes very well with roast lamb, grilled red meat, ground game and cured cheeses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Personally, I am a real cheese lover, so I decided to pair this wonderful bottle of Valtravieso crianza 2014 with some cured Spanish cheeses, recommended by the greatest experts in the field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Those selected for my cheeseboard
